Welcome to Middle School

Whether you are new or returning to the Middle School, we are confident that, in partnership with you, it will be a rewarding year for your middle school student. If you are a perspective family, we look forward to meeting you and describing our program to you further.

Middle School is an exciting time! The students are eager to learn, try out new ideas and express opinions - all on their way to becoming independent thinkers and confident young adults. Our Middle School is staffed by caring, competent individuals who understand the importance of providing multiple pathways for success, being flexible, engaging student's minds and keeping learning fun. Our aim is to create a community of learners who feel connected to both each other and our school. We do this by providing the support and instruction necessary so that all students feel capable of being successful, by creating safe learning environments where students can take educational risks and feel like their contributions are valued, and by providing opportunities, both in class and beyond the classroom, for kids to make connections. We are excited for another great year, and hope you are too.

We invite you to get to know our school better through the links on this webpage. You will find our philosophies, core beliefs, description of our courses of study, policies and procedures, and other valuable information. We also invite you to become an active part of our middle school community - whether it is via the MS concerts, drama performances, sporting events, Back to School Night, parent conferences and coffees, or being a parent volunteer, we hope that you will take advantage of opportunities to be an active part of our community.

Once again, welcome to the TAISM Middle School. We look forward to a successful partnership with your family as we work together to provide a meaningful and memorable learning experience for your child.
